The benefits of vaping

At Coffeeshop De Kade we love vaping. For several reasons, actually. That’s why we’ve made a list of the benefits of vaping weed!

1. It’s healthier

The biggest risk of smoking weed, is the smoke itself. Combustion, not the cannabis itself, is the culprit. Cannabis smoke contains the same kind of cancer-causing chemicals as cigarette smoke. Unfortunately we Dutchies have the unhealthy habbit of mixing or joints with tobacco. Why? We don’t really understand. In De Kadeloungewe only allow pure smoking, vaping & dabbing.

Burning cannabis is the thing that releases tar and cancer causing chemicals. Unlike a joint or bong, vaporizers heat cannabis to temperatures that release cannabinoids, without creating the toxins associated with combustion.

2. Stealth mode

Do you remember putting weed into a cigarette, so no one noticed? We used to call that a secret agent. Vaping weed doesn’t produce as much of an odor, especially at lower temps. In addition, vaping smells a lot less than smoke, so it’s a smart option if you’re trying to fly high under the radar.

3. Terps

Because you can heat your weed to the best possible temperature, the taste - which exists out of terpenes- is way better. Vaping typically produces more pronounced flavor than smoking. You taste the individual terpenes and cannabinoid profiles of each strain more distinctly, whereas smoking obliterates the taste and subtle nuances between strains.

4. Smoke efficient

Unlike other methods, with a vaporizer you have way more control over the dosage & temperature. It’s easier to achieve the high you desire and you can be sure to get the most out of it. The days of burning through your cannabis (and your cash) are over.

5. It’s cheaper

So let’s talk money. We say it’s efficient: that means you need less cannabis to achieve the same effect. Vaporizing weed allows you to extract the cannabinoids from your dry herb slowly and effectively. You can often get multiple sessions from a single pack. Already vaped bud can also be used to create edibles and tea, or even as an emergency smoke or vape. On the other hand, when you combust weed, it turns to ash and is no longer valuable or even a thing. Buying a designer vape pen can be an investment, but it’s seriously worth it. Smoking cannabis can be extremely wasteful as you’re often burning off more than you realize.

So, why wait? We’ve got the PAX 3 in store right now! Looking for a vape shop in Amsterdam? Come by and we’ll be happy to show you our vape pens!
