What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, commonly referred to as CBD, is used in many products today. You can even get it in your coffee and it is made into clothing, such as bras. But what is it and why would you want it?

Types of CBD

CBD is one of the active substances in weed, just like THC for example, and is found in all strains. By isolating CBD, oil can be made from it. And that is quite useful, because in this way you can use it in many things. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get you high.

There are several ways you can use CBD. You can simply put drops under your tongue, but it is also possible to absorb it through your skin with a cream or by putting it in the bath. But the big question: why would you want it?

Some people say it can reduce anxiety and pain (such as joint pain). It is also thought to combat insomnia. Science does not yet agree, but many people already swear by it.

According to Harvard researchers, we should be cautious about dismissing CBD as a miracle drug. But research from Harvard does suggest that it may be useful in some cases. For example, it can be a relatively safe option for managing anxiety, insomnia and chronic pain.
